Eponymous Photographer and Luxury Burlesque Curator Create Gorgeous Calendar with Sexy Cosplay Theme!

SEPTEMBER 17, 2013 – NEW YORK, NY – StaggStreet.com owner Ellen Stagg and luxury burlesque curator Wasabassco have joined forced to present a super sexy 2014 calendar featuring New York’s finest burlesque and side show performers. Every year there is a new theme; for 2014, the selected theme is “cosplay.”

“I really can’t think of what goes better with naked ladies than to dress them up as your favorite comic book heroes, sci-fi movie ladies, video game vixens, TV nerd sexpots, and more!” says Stagg. “This project has taken all summer to bring to fruition, and what a wonderful ride it’s been! To have been able to work with the most amazing show in the world, Wasabassco, has been a true treat.”

The 2014 Wasabassco Cosplay Calendar features a dozen devastatingly-beautiful damsels: Hazel Honeysuckle, Nasty Canasta, Sapphire Jones, Poison Ivory, Penny Wren, Evelyn Vinyl, Medianoche, Gal Friday, Stella Chuu, Marlo Marquise, Stormy Leather, and Amanda Whip.

To celebrate the calendar’s release, Stagg and Wasabassco invite the public to a party at New York’s culinary and cultural hotspot, City Winery, on Friday, October 4^th, where the ladies of Wasabassco will take to the stage for a night of tease, spectacle, and couple-friendly risqué fun.

About Ellen Stagg:

Ellen Stagg has been a photographer since she was 16 years old. She moved to New York City in 1996 from Connecticut to attend the School of Visual Arts where she received her BFA in Photography. She signed with her first photography agent at the end of her junior year of college. In over a decade of her career as a professional photographer she has worked in advertising, fashion, and portraiture, shooting for various magazines, look books, stock photography, and celebrities. Since the age of 16, Stagg had a particular interest and fascination with erotic art. It wasn’t until 2005, however, that she began a focused and concentrated pursuit of erotic photography. Upon meeting erotic model and porn star Justine Joli, Stagg started exploring erotic photography. She began shooting well-known porn, fetish and glamour models. The images were too artsy for porn magazines, and too porn-like for so called “erotic” publications and websites. With no exhibition outlet for her images, she started StaggStreet.com blog. Stagg continues to do commercial work in advertising, fashion and celebrity photography while working on her art with photo books, gallery shows, a show for PlayboyTV, and a Channel on KarmalooTV.
