ASACP Readies for Webmaster Access Amsterdam

LOS ANGELES (Sep. 11, 2013) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce its return to Amsterdam for the annual Webmaster Access business and networking event, set for September 20-23, at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel.

Uniting adult webmasters from across the EU and beyond, Webmaster Access ranks among the biggest show targeting the European market, and incorporates the Dutch Webmaster meeting and the Russian targeted AWM Open event, as well as the local installment of the Traffic Dinner and annual “GFY Party,” bringing together a diverse group of adult website operators and Internet service providers.

The Webmaster Access event’s promoters graciously provided ASACP with complimentary hotel accommodations for all three nights of the show, as well as premium banner placement, an ad in the event’s show guide, an insert in the show’s “swag bags,” and free registration for this event.

ASACP’s Executive Director, Tim Henning, will attend the event as part of the association’s international outreach initiative, where he will educate businesses about the need to protect children on the Internet and how ASACP services such as the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website meta-label, niche specific Best Practices and its Code of Ethics enable this endeavor.

“Webmaster Access kicks off a series of shows in quick succession that focus attention on the adult entertainment segments of the European digital media and mobile industries,” Henning stated. “These events draw many operators that may not typically travel to U.S.-hosted events, leveraging the importance of the perennially popular Webmaster Access gathering.”

“Many of the businesses represented at Webmaster Access operate in jurisdictions outside of the reach of U.S. laws, where online child protection may not be high on the legal agenda,” Henning explains. “Bringing ASACP’s message of keeping children out of and away from adult entertainment and other age-restricted content to these companies is thus doubly needed and is a vital part of the association’s mission.”
